Maybe we’ll even go on a vacation soon! We could visit museums and go to plays and see all sorts of fun attractions. When you turned the TV on, nothing happened. There are no actors to entertain you. When you went to the movie theater, nothing was showing. There were no advertisements to tell you that anything was showing, so you went to the theater to find out. Nothing playing. There is no one to film and create movies for you. Well at least your vacation will be fun, right? Not like there will be any plays to see and there won’t be anything in the art museums. Well at least you have the shack you are living in that you made out of cardboard and sheets.     I want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the love and kindness you’ve shown me over the last week. It was such a wonderful and moving show of support that at times I almost felt embarrassed by it. (I don’t like taking up too much of the overall field of view.)

    I also want you to know that I’m cool with things. Transitioning from bummed to inspired, and getting excited for you to hear this upcoming album while I dive deeper into another one.

    During rehearsal on Tuesday, it came to mind that I should see my throat doctor because something didn’t feel/sound right. I went in for a visit on Wednesday and a scope of my vocal cords revealed that the granuloma…

    Though I really wish it was possible, I know you’ll never see this. But, just because we don’t think we’ll be heard doesn’t mean we should stop speaking kinds words.

    To hear this news is really disheartening. Partially because I was trying to figure out somehow, some way, to go see one of your concerts. But mostly because I know how it feels to have a completely passion for something, to know that you live for a purpose and want to do nothing more than to share it with everyone you possibly can. And how empty it feels to have that taken away and not know what to do. Of course I don’t know you, i’ve never even met you, but through your music I can feel the love and utter joy you have from creating, playing, and performing. I would give anything to be able to give this back to you.

    Through your trials right now know that you will continue to have the support of myself, as well as thousands others i’m sure. I know there’s not much that we can do for you, but I hope the well wishes are at least something.

    And I know it’s a long shot, but if you still wanted to do the tour, I don’t know about everyone else but I personally would love to just hear you play guitar and perform.

  15. In protest I will be shutting down my Tumblr for the day. I know I don&#8217;t post that often. But I hope that those of you following me will see this and follow suit. We need to stop SOPA and PIPA from happening, or it will forever change the internet as we know it today. I would encourage everyone to join in and fight against them. What&#8217;s one day of shutting down, where if you don&#8217;t you could be risking an indefinite shut down?
